A unique angle on tradition
Inline spinnerbaits are nothing new. They come in a variety of sizes and colors and have been known to catch a wide variety of fish species. So what makes The Rascal different?
The blade! June Bug style blades were popular during the middle part of the 20th century. These blades were used primarily on walleye rigs and were nothing more than a spinner blade attached to a wire and a baited hook.
So we didn’t reinvent the wheel. We just enhanced it!
We’ve taken the tried and true design of the inline spinnerbait and added the unique action of the June Bug blade! This blade rotates smoothly through the water and will work when retrieved fast or very slow. Not only will the nickel-plated finish on this lure give off a natural flash, the unique design of this underutilized blade will produce a one-of-a-kind vibration pattern in the water, which may be all you need to strike the big one... You know, the big momma whose seen it all before. Not this time!
Removing all the stops!
Many anglers, myself included, have found that many times when using inline spinners, the blade gets stuck on the wire shaft. This can cause you to miss a fish’s strike zone when fishing in close quarters. With the June Bug blade you won’t have this problem! With the blade’s extended arm, it is always at the proper angle for a smooth, instant action retrieval.
